<description>Thanks Chuck, very useful post. As a mindmanager user I use Biggerplate.com alot, I did try using Mappio, but the search function is useless and I just dont find it as user friendly as Biggerplate. I&#039;d like to see the Biggerplate browse functionality improve in some areas, but overall I think it is a brilliant site, and when I emailed them about the browse functionality they emailed me straight back and we had a very interesting discussion of the possibilities and they really seem to be interested in the user-experience. I like that there is such a human element to it I guess!
I have uploaded a few maps to Biggerplate if you want to have a look, like this one: http://www.biggerplate.com/view/?id=469

Mappio aside, I think the Novamind site has potential (though I am unlikely to switch from MindManager use) and the freemindshare is something I would like to see develop (to make mapping more accessible) but I agree with you that it is (at present) somewhat limited.

Only just stumbled across your blog and find it thoroughly interesting, keep up the good work!
