MobileMind: A new FreeMind editor for Nokia mobile handsets

Jun 12th, 2007 | By | Category: Software

Mobilemind A UK developer is working on an application called MobileMind that will enable you to view and edit FreeMind files on Nokia 9500 and 9300 handsets, which run the Symbian operating system. To make the best use of the Nokia’s limited screen real estate, MobileMind actually converts FreeMind files into a hierarchical outline, with topics and sub-topics appearing in a left-hand pane and notes on the right side of the window. When you drag the file back to your desktop, it is once again editable by FreeMind.

MobileMind is currently in the alpha stage of development, which means it may not be stable yet. This looks promising! Unfortunately, I don’t own a Nokia handset, so I can’t check it out. If any of you faithful readers get a chance to play with it, please post a comment about your experiences here!
