mind mapping coaching callThanks to everyone who sent me questions this month. My replies have just been published in the September 2010 mind mapping coaching call, which you can download here (MP3, 14.2 MB, 15 minutes)

Topics covered include:

  • An assessment of SmartDraw as a business diagramming tool
  • Embedding mathematical formulas into mind map topics
  • Mind mapping programs with a personal wiki view
  • Mind mapping apps for Android smart phones
  • How to manage a weekly to-do mind map more effectively
  • The best strategy for managing multiple mind maps, so none of them get “lost”
  • The “brainstorming” mode on Microsoft Visio

Here are links to the software programs I mentioned in this audio presentation:

Please be sure to send me your questions for the October mind mapping coaching call. You can use the contact form on this blog to submit them.

Please keep in mind that my plan is to make the first few coaching calls public, so you can get a sense of their format and value. After that, the contents of future coaching calls will only be available to Mind Mapping Insider members.

  1. Please do not take this in the wrong way, but I am confused why you do not do this in a video format so we can see visual examples of the topics you cover.

  2. Good point, Will! Unfortunately, doing this in a video format would substantially increase the amount of time I would need to invest in creating screen capture videos and production – time that I don't have.

  3. Most people that are attracted to mindmaps are "Visual" learners, so it would be of much greater value and use in a video format, if at all possible.

  4. While I agree with the visual comments already made. Another time saver would be to break your question answers into separate audio files. That way if I'm only interested in one of the question/answer pairs I only have to invest the time associated with what I'm interested in. Yes I can use the scroll bar to fast forward… however time is still invested to complete that task
