Mindjet announced last week that it has re-launched its Mindjet Labs website, which has "evolved from a place where MindManager experts and partners went to find solution possibilities to a place where customers go to find out how to make their usage of MindManager most effective."
Envisioned as a home for "hands-on" information about getting the most out of MindManager, the new and improved Labs includes a 5-minute video tour, forums not only for developers and solution providers, but also for other users of MindManager, a download area with templates, add-ons, macros and scripts to help you to do more with MindManager, plus several new blogs.
Particularly impressive are some business-specific new discussion forums, focused around popular applications of MindManager: project planning, business planning, process definition, sales effectiveness and knowledge management. There’s also a new forum called "MindManager Jobs," where you can post requests to have other users and developers of the program to build new templates, XSL transformations and more, and an "Ideas for Mindjet Labs" forum, where you can give feedback to the company on what creative applications of visual mapping it should tackle next? These forums are all pretty new and therefore have little or no content in them, but you can expect them to become the focal point for dialogue between Mindjet and its customers over time.
