A key to the effectiveness of a mind map is how well it communicates not only to its author, but to others. I’m sure if you’ve viewed a lot of mind maps, you instinctively know that some of them communicate very clearly, while others may leave you scratching your head and wondering “What was he thinking? I don’t get it.”
After viewing the mind map that is the subject of the latest Effective Mind Maps report, I’m not sure I understand any more about systems thinking than when I started. And that’s a problem.
