Mind mapping software varies widely in terms of its presentation capabilities. That’s the conclusion of my latest research report, which compares the capabilities of 9 popular programs.
Some programs keep it as simple as possible, taking charge of displaying your map’s content, one topic at a time. Others give you much greater control, enabling you to decide which topics and subtopics should be displayed in your presentation and in what order. As you would expect, there are trade-offs to both approaches.
In this latest Mind Mapping Insider report, I take a detailed look at the presentation modes of 9 major mind mapping software programs:
- ConceptDraw MINDMAP 7
- iMindMap 5.5
- MindGenius 4
- MindManager 2012
- MindMapper 12
- MindView 4
- NovaMind 5
- Visual Mind 11
- XMind 3 Pro
This is information you can’t find anywhere else, because it’s based on a combination of combing through each program’s help file and actually working with each program to see how it really functions. This is my most detailed report yet, and includes screen shots to help you understand each program’s pros and cons.
