How do you know if your mind maps are as good and complete as they can be? High-quality mind maps share a number of common traits, which I explore in my latest Mind Mapping Insider resource.
Last year, I took a high-level approach to this topic in my “pre-flight checklist,” which is a single-page form that Insiders can use to create excellent mind maps. In this new report, I have dug even deeper, providing over 30 questions, tips and strategies that you can use to evaluate any mind map you have created – to ensure it does the best possible job of communicating, informing and persuading.
For this Insider resource, the medium is the message. In other words, this checklist is available in the form of a mind map, produced in several popular formats: MindManager, NovaMind, XMind and MindGenius. For those of you who don’t have any of those programs, you can also download this valuable tool as a PDF.
No matter what form you download it in, the idea is to print out this mind map and use it as a measurement tool to assess the quality, completeness and organization of your mind maps. I hope you find it useful!
