Tom Crawford, CEO of VizThink, reports that the full guide for the VizThink Conference (January 27-29, 2008 in San Francisco, Calif.) is now online. Tom’s opening comments in the brochure set the stage for what this unique event is all about:
"VizThink ’08 is all about exposure and experience with a wide variety of visual thinking styles, approaches, and applications. We’ve worked hard to bring together the most diverse set of visual thinking experts ever under one roof."
This PDF version of the conference brochure contains full descriptions of all conference sessions and registration info. From the world of mind mapping, Jamie Nast (author of the excellent book, Idea Mapping) will give a presentation on "Mapping a Great 2008" and will co-chair a visual communications problem solving panel discussion. Harlan Hugh, developer of TheBrain visual mapping and knowledge management tool, will give a presentation on the application of visualization to mapping the complex associative networks that form the basis of the way we think and work.
I also urge you to check out the VizThink website to see what else this community of visual thinkers is up to – especially the series of webcasts that got underway a few weeks ago.
