Here’s a little-known MindManager feature, highlighted by Steve Rothwell in his Peace of Mind blog: You can drag and drop files from Windows Explorer into your MindManager maps. I guess I didn’t realize that was possible. This technique is a lot faster than creating a topic, then right-clicking and selecting the "add hyperlink" command!
As Steve points out, you can easily drag and drop your "source materials" into your map, and then rearrange them later to meet your needs – or add your supporting notes as subtopics to them. This also works for adding web page links to your map.
I seem to recall that several other mind mapping software programs also allow you to do similar "drag and drop" operations, but I don’t remember which specific programs support it. Why not try this time-saving technique today?
(By the way, Steve Rothwell is the author of one of the case histories that is included in my new mind mapping software e-book)
