I love that some mind mapping programs are cross-platform, but I need more feature partity between platforms (e.g. missing task information in Mindjet for iPad) to be able to truly use them cross platform.

Hello: MM software should be able to take advantage of the range of cloud storage services such as Dropbox, etc. I would like to see MM software such as Mindjet's MindManager and Mindjet for iPad (that I use) be able to export portions or all of a MM to other services such as Evernote, etc.

I use both mind mapping programs and TheBrain 7. I love the database capabilities of TheBrain, however, it can only be used on a computer, not iphone and not ipad. Since I spend lots of time on my iPad, The Brain is increasingly becoming less useful to me. If a database mind mapping program like TheBrain were fully functional on computers, tablets and iphones and if they would synchronize accurately and quickly across all those hardware types, that would be terrific.

I echo Mathieu I use tablet, PC and mac and would like a core set of functions to be common on any platform. IthoughtsHD on the iPad does a great job. I would also prefer the use of general cloud storage rather than application specific like connect. On the other side I still want my mindmapping applications to the be visual thinking tools not a pseudo-office replacement.

I don't understand why I STILL have to do work arounds to get my branches in MindManager

to each be in a different color. Even if I manually change each branches color (or set up a template)

If I add any new topics it reverts to the default color so I have to keep

Fiddling with the map. While I like, and really use, the ability to add photos Mindjet does very

little to make it easy to create visually appealing maps.

Someone actually created a nice add-in for MindManager that gives you some nice auto-colouring options for your maps. You can find it here: http://www.necsus.dk/en/paintmap
